Comments: This is an emission nebula (hydrogen plasma in the glow mode). This image was processed via a technique (described by Rob Gendler) wherein the Halpha frame was added to both the original Red channel and the Luminance channel. Also the star color from the original LRGB frame was preserved in this final image.© Don Scott 2008.
